Who is responsible

AskMatti is a service of Metalex CommV, 's Gravenstraat 36K, 9810 Nazareth-De Pinte, company number BE 1024.119.268. Metalex is the controller for the processing of your data. You can reach us at matti@askmatti.be.

What you share

The contact form asks for your name, company, email address and an explanation. Your phone number and chosen areas of work are optional. This information is used to handle your request.

Where your request ends up

Submissions are stored on the website’s server and in the linked internal Obsidian project file. Your data does not appear on the public website. The form does not send an automatic confirmation email.

Conversations with Matti

If you talk to Matti via Telegram or WhatsApp, we process your messages to reply to you and, if you ask, to schedule an introductory call. For this we use an external AI service that acts as a processor. We keep conversations for no more than 30 days. We only pass your name, company and email address on to the AskMatti team if you explicitly agree. Please don’t share sensitive information in the chat, such as passwords or medical information.

Emails to Matti

If you forward an email to matti@askmatti.be for the demo, we read it with the same external AI service to send you a single reply, to you only. We never write to addresses found in the forwarded email. Demo emails are deleted after 7 days. Please leave out sensitive information.

Booking an intro call

If you book an intro call through the website, we use your name, company, email address and any note to put the meeting in our calendar and send you an invitation from matti@askmatti.be. If you came through a link in an email from Matti, we pre-fill your email address.

Cookies and measurement

Without your consent we set no cookies and load no external analytics or advertising tools. If you click “Sure, fine”, we load two services: Google Analytics (Google Ireland, via Google Tag Manager), to see how the site is used, and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland), so we can later show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. These services then set their own cookies, which can last up to 2 years. We remember your choice in your browser for 6 months. You can change it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. No cookie is needed to send the form.

If you click a link in an email from Matti, we record which link you clicked and when. This tells us what interests you so we can follow up in a relevant way. We keep this data for no more than 12 months.
